Guy Lobe, one of Cameroon`s finest artists died yesterday morning at the Yaounde General Hospital. The ailment he suffered from is not yet clear but on October 26, 2010, he suffered a cadiac arrest in Paris France.
Guy Lobe`s art was discovered in the 80s and since then has had great hits in albums such as "Union Libre", "Lai Lai", "Solitude" and "Sanouko". Coincidentally he died on the same date as his friend and music collaborator, Lapio de Mbanga.
Yep! His makossa rhythms were great!
