60 people,mostly women and children have been kidnapped by Boko Haram two weeks after the sect`s leader, Abubakar Shekau sent a video message threatening Cameroon.
This kidnapping comes a day after neighbouring Chad deployed troops to combat Boko Haram in Cameroon and Nigeria, as part of a regional bid to combat the insurgents.According to a police officer to AFP, the militants burst into two villages in the Tourou area. They torched houses and left with 60 people.
