was seen through the face of Pr. Gervais Mendo ZE and vice versa .

The seasoned university professor was arrested yesterday at
his Nkol-Eton residence and taken to the Special criminal Court in Yaounde. He
was taken into custody after being audited for more than six hours.
Mendo ZE was last seen in public during the burial of President
Biya`a mother inlaw less than a month ago where he conducted his famous choir “La voix du Cenacle”.
His arrival at the Yaounde Central Prison popularly known as
Kondengui was no surprise. He was immediately taken to “Quartier 13 BIS”, his bed ready and pretty close to one of the most
recent Sparrow Hawk victim,- Iya Mohammed.
Although reasons for his arrest have not been officially
confirmed, Mendo ZE`s name is not new on the list of possible embezzling
victims. “Back in his days as Crtv boss, he was reproached for swindling audio
visual royalties alongside other state personalities but strangely, he’s being
charged ten years after his departure from CRTV”, a source affirms. Mendo ZE will be 70 on December 25th this year.
Anyone remembers the
days he was accused by a female radio caller who recounted that she received a
necklace from Mendo ZE which turned out to be a snake? Scary!!!! According to
reports the girl died few days later. I was quite a kid then but who forgets a story
like this????
